Have a Peach of a Summer!

Peaches are such great fruit, especially in the summer! Nothing beats biting into a peach on a hot day or enjoying the fresh taste of natural peach flavors in unique dishes. We love peaches too and we are so excited to share our five favorite peach dishes with you all! These dishes are easy to make and are perfect for any summer event.

Peach Salsa Fish Tacos

You heard that right! Our peach salsa fish tacos are out of this world. All you need to make the tacos are 1 pound of tilapia filet (or white fish of your choice), 1 teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper, taco shells of your choice, and one avocado sliced thin.

To make the salsa component of this dish, you will need one packet of our Peach Salsa Mix, 15oz. can of diced petite tomatoes, and one 8 oz. can of crushed pineapple with its juice. Finally, to make the sauce you will need ½ cup of mayo, 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning, and the juice of half a lime.

While this may seem like a lot of ingredients, the cooking process couldn’t be easier. First, make your peach salsa mix following the directions on the packet and let it chill in the fridge for at least 8 hours. Next, preheat your oven to 400 degrees and cover a baking sheet with wax paper. Season your fish using salt and pepper and cook for roughly 10 minutes.

While your fish is baking, mix together your mayo, lime juice, and taco seasoning, adding more seasoning if needed. Take your avocado slices and put them in each taco shell, and place your fish in between the slices. Garnish your tacos with some peach salsa mix and a drizzle of your mayo, lime, and seasoning sauce. That’s all there is to it! This is a great meal for guests to help themselves to and can be altered to fit everyone's tastes.

Peach Salsa Shrimp Skewers

Like all of our recipes, this dish is extremely easy to make. First, make your peach salsa mix following the directions on the packet, making sure to refrigerate it for at least 8 hours once made. Next, place your shrimp in a large zip lock bag along with your peach salsa. Shake the bag around until your shrimp is coated with peach salsa. Then, skewer your shrimp and cook it over medium heat on a grill for 3 minutes on each side. Once cooked, serve your shrimp and garnish it with any remaining peach salsa you may have. Enjoy your meal!
