Shirley's Tip of the Week #2

Shirley's Tip of the Week #2

This week’s tip is another one that focuses of the powerful benefits of cleaning with vinegar, but this time it’s focusing on how to use vinegar to get rid of microwave odors and filth. So let’s find out how exactly to keep those microwaves clean!

Nasty Odors – If you’ve microwaved something with a pungent scent, fill a small glass bowl with vinegar, microwave for about 5 minutes, and then wipe down your microwave afterwards. If the odor is too massive of a beast, keep the bowl of vinegar in the microwave to sit overnight.

Stains – If you have greasy buildup or stains in your microwave, fill a small glass bowl or glass measuring cup with 1 cup of water and ¼ cup of vinegar. Heat the concoction in the microwave until it’s boiling for about 3 minutes. Remove the dish and wipe down the microwave and you’ll be all set.

Remember, you wouldn’t eat out of a dirty dish so why would you eat out of a dirty microwave? Use vinegar to keep your microwave clean ladies and gents.
