B.L.T. 7-Layer Salad

Ingredients: 

  • 1 packet B.L.T. Dip Mix
  • 1-1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Do not use salad dressing such as
       Miracle Whip®, use real mayonnaise.)
  • milk
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped 
  • 2 cups (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed 
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, chopped 
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1lb. bacon, cooked & crumbled 
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced 
  • 4 green onions, chopped 
  • croutons as garnish, if desired

Directions: 

Blend sour cream and mayonnaise. Add entire packet of B.L.T. Dip Mix. Mix well. Thin with small amount of milk to reach desired consistency. Chill overnight or minimum of 4 hours. Using a 13x9-inch baking dish layer ingredients in the following order: lettuce, broccoli, peas, top with approximately 1-1/2 cups of prepared B.L.T. dressing, bacon, cheese and green onion.  You may add additional B.L.T. dressing as needed. Top with optional croutons. Serve immediately.
