Mom's Apple Pie

Mom's Apple Pie


  • 1 packet Mom’s Apple Pie Dip Mix, prepared according to pkg. directions and chilled for at least 2 hours
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 can (20 oz.) apple pie filling
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon


Unroll the pie crust and place it in the pan. Press the crust into the bottom of the pan and pre-bake at 350° for 5 minutes, then remove from oven. Spread prepared Mom’s Apple Pie Dip Mix over the crust. Place pie filling on top; spread evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of pie filling. Add topping of your choice. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until crust has set.

Crumble topping: combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup flour, and 1/4 cup cold diced butter with a fork until just crumbly. Top pie and bake.

Glaze topping: combine 1/8 cup melted butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar.  Top pie and bake.
